Commentary

A speaker system using JBL units.

The unit is equipped with D130 which is a 38 cm diameter cone type full range unit.
This unit uses a 10 cm φ edge-wound aluminum ribbon voice coil, a 5 kg magnet, and an ultra-thin duralumin center dome to improve sound propagation in the middle and high regions.

The front baffle is equipped with 2 meklar plates, and it can be developed into 2 way or 3 way by adding horn type skoker and tweeter.
On the back side, there are two panels for the network.

The enclosure uses a back-load horn type to emphasize the low sound range and increase the volume of the reproduced sound.
The baffle plate is made of Scandinavian birch plywood, the side plate and top plate are made of walnut plywood, and the enclosure is carefully finished by hand with a plane.
In addition, in order to demonstrate the characteristics of the back-load horn type, reinforcing balk are used inside to match the unit with the enclosure.

The front grille is made with Sansui's unique Shippo grating made of natural cypress wood. The exterior is finished with an oil finish.
