Commentary
A 4-way 6-speaker system developed through repeated hearing tests under various conditions for actual use in accordance with measurement data in the laboratory.
A 30 cm cone type unit is used for the low range.
It uses a large magnet with a diameter of 6 cm and a weight of nearly 1 kg, and has a 140,000 maxwell magnetic circuit.
The edge uses a cloth with a special dump material processing for good linearity.
The medium range is an acoustic staggering system using two units with different diameters of 16 cm and 12 cm.
The rear face is sealed to prevent interference from the woofer.
Two 5 cm horn type units are used for the high range, and a 3.5 cm horn type unit is used for the ultra-high range.
The network circuit employs a transformer type 12dB/oct with a specially designed large ferrite core utilizing Sansui's transformer technology, which improves efficiency by 1.5 times.
In addition, since the tap-type level control is adopted, the damping characteristic does not deteriorate because of series resistance like the volume type.
By repeatedly listening and measuring the sound level, you can switch between 3 points of middle and 3 points of high sound according to the size, structure and acoustic characteristics of the room.
The enclosure is a bass reflex system with a pipe duct to match the unit of the woofer and improves low-range playback.
In addition, in order to prevent the generation of standing waves, 25 mm pressure special wave type felt with high sound absorption effect is used inside.
The enclosure is made of a hard and dense 25 mm chipboard with an open pore finish that takes advantage of the beauty of the walnut.
