Commentary
A 2-way speaker system that incorporates unique vibration control technology in a compact size.
In order to suppress minimized surface area of the edge is used to suppress the edge squeal.
In addition, by thoroughly dumping the inside of the unit and enclosure with special damping materials that are heavy, unwanted vibrations are controlled.
A 21 cm cone woofer is used for the low range, and a 2.5 cm hard dome tweeter is used for the high range.
By using a tweeter made of a different material from the woofer, we use a PF carbon diaphragm with a weight reduced by approximately 50% compared to the conventional one for the vibration plate of the tweeter in order to prevent loss of sound coherence and to ensure consistency with the woofer diaphragm.
In addition, each unit has a magnetic shielding design.
In the network, air-core coils using OFC alloy lead wires are hardened with a special resin with a large mass to suppress vibration of the outside and coil itself.
In addition, film capacitors have been adopted to ensure sound quality.
The enclosure uses a softwood high density particle board with a walnut veneer on the surface and an oil finish.
Inner frame mounting system is adopted inside, and 40 mm thick X-shaped center baffle is installed in almost center, and woofer frame and magnetic circuit are fixed there.
In addition, the top panel has a double structure of spruce, and the top is covered with cowhide nubuck to reduce unnecessary vibration.
