Commentary
An AV capable tall boy type speaker system equipped with an AASW (Aero Acoustic Super Woofer) system.
To improve bass reproduction, a AASW system with a 16 cm cone woofer unit is adopted.
The AASW System is a low-frequency reproduction system based on Helmholtz's resonator theory. Although it is a small-diameter unit, it achieves low-frequency reproduction comparable to that of a large-diameter unit.
By lowering the resonance frequency of the internal space and duct section to a low frequency range, sufficient sound pressure in the low frequency range is obtained. The resonance generated here also plays the role of an acoustic filter, and harmonic components are filtered out when coming out of the duct, and reproduced sound with less distortion than the direct sound method is obtained.
It uses a 16 cm cone type woofer for the low range and a. 25 cm hard dome type tweeter for the high range.
The cabinet interior is completely separated so that the low frequency part does not affect the main system part, and sufficient plate thickness is secured to prevent unnecessary box squeal.
