Commentary
The largest enclosure in the EC series.
The EC 246 is a symmetrical bass enclosure that can mount both 46 cm and 30 cm mid-woofers.
It has an internal volume of 227 liters and a 63-liter back cavity for use as a four way mid-woofer.
It is composed of Scandinavian birch isobaric plywood common to the EC series and high-density particle board. In addition, unnecessary vibrations such as standing waves are suppressed by the asymmetric arrangement of Yonematsu reinforcement.
