B-2102 MOS VINTAGE
Commentary

This stereo power amplifier was developed in pursuit of the essence of power amplifier and focusing on simplification.

The first stage of the diamond differential circuit is an FET cascade, and the NEW diamond differential circuit is used to reduce the effect of impedance differences between connected devices.
This reduces the impedance of the entire circuit and realizes stable operation.

MOS FET is adopted in the output stage to obtain excellent frequency characteristics and transient characteristics.

The power supply section uses a balanced power supply configuration that is a closed loop independent of the ground circuit.
In addition, we have adopted custom-made heavy-duty transformers, electrolytic capacitors for audio equipment, and fast recovery diodes developed exclusively for the B-2102MOSVintage to ensure low impedance and high speed.

For the volume, a detent volume is used in a para-connection, and the contact resistance is reduced to half to prevent sound quality degradation, and the left and right are independent.
Also, by adopting an interlocking type with a clutch mechanism, the volume can be finely adjusted.

Twin monaural construction is adopted in which mutual interference is eliminated by arranging power amplifier blocks symmetrically.
This allows connection at the shortest distance from the power supply.

The front panel is made of 6 mm thick aluminum, with 3 mm bonnet panel and side panel with 8.0 mm thick felt inside to absorb unwanted reflected sound.
The base plate is equipped with a double chassis consisting of a pure copper plate and a copper-plated chassis, and a felt-covered pure copper solid large insulator to eliminate internal interference and external vibration.
