Commentary
Integrated amplifier with X-balanced amplifier.
The basic configuration of the amplifier is an X-balanced amplifier.
The X-balanced amplifier consists of balanced input, balanced output, balanced power supply, twin diamond balanced differential circuit, and balanced feedback technology. It has a balanced configuration from input to output and drives the speakers from both the + and - sides.
As a result, the IHM distortion caused by the power supply ripple current and the interaction between external noise and the back electromotive force, which was caused by using the - side of the speaker for the common ground in the conventional amplifier, is suppressed. In addition, the distortion and characteristics in the actual operation of the amplifier are greatly improved by the configuration in which the balance feedback is applied to the plus and minus two output stages.
The power supply section is a 3-power supply system using a large EI transformer with excellent regulation. A dedicated power supply for pre-drive / equalizer and two independent L/R power supplies enable high-power reproduction.
In addition, the balanced power supply configuration, which is completely isolated from the earth ground, is free from fluctuations caused by external influences, and external influences are also suppressed.
The equalizer uses a DC-configuration Hi-Precision equalizer to achieve wide-band and high-precision characteristics with an RIAA deviation of 20 hz to 300 khz ± 0.2 db.
The circuit configuration is composed of two differential stages, a push-pull drive pure complimentary service SEPP output by current differential with current mirror using dual FET of low noise and high gm for the first stage, and a discrete configuration to give priority to sound quality.
It is compatible with MC type, High MC type and MM type cartridges by changing the gain.
Equipped with a deck output independent REC selector switch, you can record a source different from the one being played back.
Parts such as small high-performance capacitors, copper foil styrene capacitors, and non-magnetic elements are used.
In addition, a large and heavy aluminum block and heat sink are used to prevent modulation distortion caused by vibration in the power transistor.
It is equipped with functions such as subsonic filter, tone control, loudness and muting.
Uses a twin relay speaker switch that allows connection of two speakers.
Uses AC power cord with polarity display.
