SANSUI AU-2000
¥ 41,800 (around 1973)
Commentary
A pre-main amplifier incorporating Sansui's audio technology.
It is made by inheriting the technology of high-end models.
A large transformer is used for the power supply.
The amplifier section consists of a quasi complimentary service / darlington SEPP / OTL circuit.
It also uses a fuse to protect the power transistor.
Built-in features include tuner-priority selectors, low / high filters, loudness, tape monitor, mode switch, and three way speaker switching.
Microphone jack and DIN terminal are mounted on the front panel.
Compatible with high impedance microphones.
