A subwoofer system developed to support the low range of near-field monitors.

The design of XB1 seems to have been different between when the TB1 series was released and when the TB2 series was released. The initial model has a vertical design and the later model has a horizontal design, so the overall design seems to be different.

The unit is equipped with a 25 cm cone type woofer using a dual voice coil, and each low sound range of L and R is mechanically summed.

The enclosure uses a transmission line system.
In this system, the unit is attached to a long taper line designed for acoustic engineering, and low-frequency energy is output from the port as if it is pushed out by a piston, thus achieving higher SPL than conventional port-design speakers.

The exterior finishes were black spray finish and rose wood finish for early models.
Also, for the later model, there were black spray finish, black ash finish and rose wood finish.
