Commentary
This speaker system is the flagship model of the PMC.
It has a 38 cm radial cone woofer in the low range and a 7.5 cm dome midrange in the middle range.
In addition, a 2.7 cm soft dome type tweeter using a double chamber is installed in the high range.
Interference between units is reduced by using a steep slope of 24 dB in the network section.
The enclosure uses a transmission line system, enabling low-frequency playback at 17 Hz (-2.5 dB).
In addition, two layered MDF materials are used for the material, and the latest proprietary technology has been applied to the internal partition structure and connecting method of the cabinet.
The speaker terminal supports tri-wiring.
There are two versions of BB5 : passive and active.
As for the passive type, there are 3 types of finish, BB5-P-BA is black ash finish, BB5-P-R is rosewood finish, and BB5-P-W (BB5-P-AW) is walnut finish.
The active type has BB5-A-BA with black ash finish and BB5-XBD-BA with XBD.
