Pioneer AS-30

Commentary

3-way speaker system kit.

A 30 cm cone type woofer is used for the low range.
Uses FB cone for cone paper and ferrite magnet for magnetic circuit.

The mid-range uses a 12 cm cone type mid-range that uses FB cone as well as woofer.
The rear of the unit is equipped with a sealed back chamber to enhance sound absorption and to avoid sound interference.

A horn type tweeter is installed in the high frequency range.
A special diaphragm made of polyester resin with evaporated aluminum is used for the diaphragm.

It is equipped with independent high-frequency and mid-frequency level controls.

The network section is designed specifically for the AS-30, and has a damping characteristic of -12dB/oct. to suppress interference distortion near the crossover.

There was a special enclosure LE-B30 sold separately.
