Commentary
FM/AM/TV stereo tuner equipped with RF/Video output.
The FM tuner uses a high-purity receiving design with improved RF intermodulation characteristics, and the MPX and muting circuits use newly developed ICs to improve various characteristics.
A pilot signal auto-cancel circuit is also built in.
The TV tuner uses a split-carrier system that emphasizes sound quality.
It has a built-in RF converter, so if you connect it to your TV, you can switch between video and audio simultaneously with the channel button of FT 8000.
It also has a Video output that can be connected to a dedicated monitor television for images.
Stereo / mono / 2-language broadcasting can be automatically switched and received.
You can preset a total of 18 stations including 9 FM / AM stations and 9 UHF / VHF stations. You can select a station by one touch with a soft push button.
