Commentary
A 3-band tuner consisting of an FM/AM tuner and a stereo TV tuner.
The FM tuner section is designed to improve RF intermodulation characteristics, and an IC dedicated to Pioneer is adopted to achieve low distortion rate and high SN ratio.
In addition, in order to obtain high-quality sound, we have adopted a new quadrature detector in which a microinductor and a detector transformer are housed in the same case. We also have a built-in pilot signal auto-cancel circuit that automatically follows changes in transmission levels.
The AM tuner uses a newly developed ferrite core for the OSC coil to improve accuracy.
The Stereo TV Tuner section is equipped with an RF converter, so if you connect your TV, you can switch between video and audio simultaneously with the channel buttons of the FT 600. In addition, by adopting the split carrier method, it is less susceptible to buzzing and provides sound quality with less noise.
Audio can be automatically switched between mono, stereo, and bilingual broadcasting, and up to 9 auto channels can be preset for both UHF and VHF.
It is equipped with a headphone terminal for exclusive broadcasting of 2 languages.
