Commentary
Digital synthesizer tuner with technology condensed into slim body.
In order to improve the RF intermodulation characteristics, the front end is equipped with a varicap equivalent to 3 series, and the twin varicap provides a dynamic range equivalent to that of a varicon.
The MPX decoder separates the composite signal obtained from the FM detection circuit into L/R audio signals. It uses a unique direct-through MPX.
This system outputs only the necessary signal without passing the signal through the active system, so that a clear stereo signal can be obtained without being affected by noise caused by non-linearity of the transistor.
In order to increase the merit of the quartz lock system that locks the reference frequency and the local oscillation frequency made by the quartz oscillator and reliably captures the station, we have adopted the pulse swallow system that eliminates the problem of noise caused by the reference frequency remaining in the signal line when the reference frequency is increased from 12.5 kHz to 25 kHz and moved out of the audible band.
This stabilizes the operation and improves the signal-to-noise ratio.
The AM section is equipped with a new large loop antenna, and high sensitivity is achieved by using an FET buffer for the tuning coil of the antenna.
A 2-element ceramic filter is used in the IF section to eliminate proximity interference.
Equipped with an FM + AM random 8-station preset switch and an FM/AM 8-station preset switch.
It is equipped with an AUTO search that automatically selects the channel with the UP/DOWN switch and a MANUAL search that allows you to select the desired frequency by yourself.
Equipped with a convenient REC level check for air check.
