Commentary

Pure Malt series speaker system.

Large white oak trees from 80 to more than 100 years old are used for the barrels used to mature whiskies, all of which are made of straight grain plates.
This board is used as a speaker and realizes a soft sound and unique texture that cannot be reproduced with freshly cut board.

Two 10-cm cone type woofers are installed in the lower range.
Aramid fiber is used for the diaphragm, and newly developed aluminum die-cast is used for the frame.

A 2 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.

The enclosure uses a bass-reflex system with ports carved out of solid barrel material.
In addition, ABD (Acoustic Balance Drive) technology was adopted in the design of the enclosure, and vertical standing wave is canceled by optimizing by the arrangement of the speaker unit and the position and length of the port through simulation analysis, and the sound without turbidity in the ultra-low range is realized.

The input terminal is a bi-wired speaker terminal.

There was a specially developed speaker stand as a separately sold option.
A part of this stand is made of barrel material.
