Commentary

A vertical twin tall boy speaker system developed by inheriting the technology cultivated in the development of the S-99twin.

Vertical twin system is adopted aiming at the sense of localization of real sound image.
By placing the upper and lower woofers around the center of the tweeter, the acoustic energy of the two woofers matches the axis of the tweeter, making the sound connection between the low and high tones smooth, and obtaining a clear sense of localization of sound image.
In addition, horizontal directivity is improved by in-line coaxial arrangement k and k.

Each unit inherits the technologies developed in Technical Audio Devices (TAD).
For the low range, pulp corn is laminated with polymer film, and in addition, 2 18 cm cone type woofers with anti-magnetic design are adopted.
A 2.5 cm ceramic carbon dome type tweeter with an alnico magnet for the magnetic circuit is adopted for the high range.
The protective net of the tweeter is made of copper with low resonance sharpness.

Midship mount is used to prevent excessive vibration of the speaker unit from being transmitted to the baffle.
Both the woofer and tweeter are secured to the inner baffle in the enclosure to prevent unwanted vibrations from being transmitted directly to the baffle.
In addition, the baffle uses an elliptic curve round baffle to obtain a natural sound field and sound image orientation.
In addition, suede packing is attached around the tweeter to reduce high-frequency reflections and excessive vibration of the baffle.

The network is separate for woofer and tweeter to prevent mutual magnetic interference.
In addition, the network board for the woofer is floated from the enclosure to reduce the effect of vibration on the enclosure.

The speaker jacks can be used as a by-wire connection.
