This speaker system was completed as a natural phase system based on Pioneer's original wave front control technology and networkless technology.

The Natural Phase System has three key points : "an enclosure that matches the sound sources of a woofer and a tweeter for theoretical phase matching," "smooth electrical phase characteristics using networkless technology," and "a shape that prevents wavefront diffraction and fully draws out the performance of each speaker unit." By implementing these three points, uniform sound spread and smooth phase characteristics are achieved.

A 16 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The shape and material of all suspension systems, including the edge shape, are examined one by one to enhance the ability to follow minute input.
In addition, by directly connecting without a network using networkless technology, the deterioration factor of the input signal is eliminated as much as possible.

A 3.5 cm semi-dome type tweeter is used for the high range.
This tweeter is a newly developed HSDOM (Harmonized Synthetic Diaphragm Optimum Method) tweeter using ceramic graphite. It is designed to maximize each function and performance by using the finite element method with computer for the material, shape, edge, etc. of the diaphragm.

The frame of the woofer and the flange of the tweeter are made of die-cast zinc with 2.6 times the specific gravity of aluminum to enhance Iori and vibration control effect.
The unit is mounted using a midship mounting method to prevent the magnetic circuit from swinging due to the driving of the cone.

Networkless technology provides a simple network using only a low-frequency amplitude limiting capacitor for the tweeter.

A CGR (Capacitive Gap Reduction) system utilizing TAD (Technical Audio Devices) technology has been introduced to reduce unnecessary electrostatic charge generated near the signal current and improve sound quality by using a clean signal.

In the enclosure, mahogany with good acoustic characteristics is used for all components such as the baffle plate 67 mm thick, which is shaved from the plank, the butts and the base.
In addition, in order to suppress the diffraction phenomenon of sound, the baffle surface is made to be the minimum area for the size of the unit, and the wave surface is controlled by applying a unique taper treatment.

The enclosure is designed to be integrated with the dedicated base and has a floating structure using felt packing between the main body and base to reduce sound quality change due to installation conditions.
This floating base is detachable.

The separately sold special stand also adopts the total design and design, and can be swung inside 18 degrees without changing the position of the stand.
