Commentary

A floor-type speaker system developed with the aim of becoming a speaker that can forget the existence of audio equipment and become enchanted with music itself.

The low-range is equipped with EL 403 which is a 40 cm cone type woofer.
Tough newly developed cone paper is used for the diaphragm, and large alnico magnet is used for the magnetic circuit.

The middle and high range is equipped with a horn type mid-range using driver unit ED-915 and horn EH-351S.
The ED 915 uses an ultra-lightweight beryllium diaphragm, enabling playback up to 22 kHz with a large diameter of 48 mm. In addition, a triple-slit type fading plug, coupled with ultra-precision machining, provides excellent transient characteristics and resolution.
The EH-351S wood separable horn consists of the first horn made of precision aluminum casting and the second horn made of wood made of birch plywood, and realizes excellent strength and resonance characteristics. The gray finish of the EH-351S was used only in the Model3401, and only wood finish was used in the Model3401 w or sold separately.

A horn type tweeter, ET 703, is mounted in the ultra-high range.
This unit combines a 35 mm diameter beryllium diaphragm with a magnetic circuit with high magnetic flux density, and realizes ultra-high frequency reproduction at 45 kHz.
The horn section is a diffuse type with wide directivity and has excellent localization characteristics.

The network section is equipped with EN 907.
The EN-907 is designed to withstand a maximum input power of 300W with less distortion for a very small input power. The coil is designed with low distortion and low direct current resistance, and the condenser is made of a metallized film type with an emphasis on sound quality. Thus, attention is paid to sound quality.
A constant-resistance parallel-type attenuator is mounted, and a multi-amplifier terminal is mounted on the panel surface.

The enclosure has a bass-reflex finish.
