Pioneer CSL-1000

Commentary

A non-directional speaker system developed by Pioneer Electronics Technology (U.S.A.).

It was sold as an imported product in Japan.

The basic structure of the CSL-1000 is the same as that of the CSL-2000 and the design is slightly smaller.

It has a 16 cm cone woofer in the low range and two 8.7 cm cone tweeters in the high range.
Polypropylene diaphragm with reinforced carbon fiber is used as diaphragm of each unit.

The enclosure is made of a new material, Advanced Acrylic Polymer Resin, which has a marble-like appearance and is drip-proof and flame-retardant and can be used outdoors as well as indoors.
In addition, the upper lighting is made of the same acrylic material as car headlights, and has acquired high durability.

The exterior comes in three colors : grey (summer dusk), black (Midnight granite) and beige (desert sandstone).
