Commentary

Speaker system using duralumin dome.

A 25 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit uses FB cone for the cone paper. In addition, the front of the cone paper is coated with a special damping material to improve the enclosure's sealing. This reduces characteristic peaks and dips and improves sound quality.
In addition, foamed urethane edge is used for the edge, which is extremely stable with little change in characteristics against changes in temperature and humidity, and combined with a large high-compliance damper, distortion and edge resonance in the low range are minimized.
A long type voice coil is used for the magnetic circuit. Furthermore, by using a brass bobbin, the input resistance is improved and the value of Qo is optimized. In addition, by installing a pure copper cap on the center pole, the magnetostriction caused by the magnetic circuit is suppressed.

A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
This unit uses a 30 μ - thick ultra-hard duralumin diaphragm combined with a special fin (defuser) on the front surface to obtain excellent directional characteristics. In addition, by using a special urethane foam material on the edge, compliance is enhanced, strain generation near fo is suppressed, and low strain rate is realized over the whole band.

A large ferrite core coil and a Mylar capacitor are used in the network section to minimize constant loss and improve transient characteristics.

Level control is mounted on the front baffle.

The enclosure has a sealed structure using 18 mm thick plates, and a large amount of sound absorbing material is used inside.
In addition, the exterior has a walnut oil finish.
