A 3-way speaker system that uses a dome unit.

A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit is coated with cone paper and has improved transient characteristics. In addition, by using polyurethane foam with good linearity at the edge and strong resistance to temperature and humidity changes, low frequency distortion is suppressed and edge resonance is suppressed. In addition, by using long voice coil and double damper, low frequency distortion is suppressed.
A ferrite magnet of 140 mm φ is used for the magnetic circuit, and a pure copper cap is attached to the center pole to suppress distortion in the middle and high frequency range caused by non-linearity of magnetic material.

The mid-range features a 4.8 cm dome mid-range.
The diaphragm uses an ultra-hard duralumin diaphragm with a thickness of 40 μ m. The front surface of the diaphragm is equipped with diffused radial fins and a diffuser to obtain excellent directional characteristics. The chamber inside the magnetic circuit is filled with a sound-absorbing material, and two types of sound-absorbing materials are selectively inserted into the through-hole in the center pole and the back chamber. This prevents internal standing waves on the back surface of the diaphragm and provides sharp low-frequency characteristics.
Polyurethane foam, which is the same material as the edge of the woofer, is used to hold the center of the diaphragm. In addition to high compliance and low fo of the diaphragm, the strain of the rising part and the strain generated from the edge itself are reduced.

A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
In addition to the 20 μ m thick hard titanium diaphragm, the specially developed diffuse radial fin and defuser are used together to obtain flat frequency characteristics with little level fluctuation and excellent directional characteristics.
The edge is made of polyurethane foam similar to the mid-range. The edge width is reduced to improve low-frequency characteristics and reduce distortion. To improve reliability, the voice coil leads are joined with a lead wire with a high fatigue limit similar to the woofer and mid-range.

In the woofer section of the network, an impedance compensation circuit is inserted in parallel with the unit to suppress impedance changes and improve transient characteristics.
In addition, a large ferrite core with high magnetic permeability and a Mylar film capacitor are used in the tweeter section to minimize constant loss and realize excellent transient characteristics.

The enclosure uses a 20 mm thick rigid particle board, and the interior of the enclosure is partitioned with felt according to the maximum velocity plane of standing waves to improve sound quality in the middle and low range and to suppress internal standing waves.
The exterior has a walnut oil finish.
