¥ 66,000 (1 unit, around 1974)
Commentary
A floor-type speaker system equivalent to an improved version of the CS-770.
A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit uses a new type of cone paper produced by Pioneer's original manufacturing method, and has excellent transient characteristics due to the ample enclosure and enhanced magnetic circuit.
It has a 16 cm cone mid-bus for the mid-low range and a 10 cm cone mid-range for the mid-high range.
These units use a magnetic circuit made of ferrite magnet and newly developed cone paper to realize excellent transient characteristics and low distortion rate.
A multi-cellar horn type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The enclosure uses a particle board and is designed with a bass reflex.
In addition, a partition made of sound absorbing material is provided inside to prevent the occurrence of standing waves and to obtain sufficient bass reflex effect.
Equipped with terminals for multi-amplifier, 2-way / 3-way multi-amplifier drive is possible by switching the switch.
