Pioneer CS-72
¥ 32,000 (1 unit, around mid 1960 s)
Commentary
A floor-type speaker system with symmetrical unit layout.
A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The middle area is equipped with a 16 cm cone type squaker designed for CS-72.
This unit uses a sealed structure to prevent interference with the woofer.
A horn type tweeter equivalent to PT-6 is mounted in the high frequency range.
A newly designed dedicated network is used in the network section.
There is also a level control on the back for high frequencies that can be adjusted according to the condition of the room and the source. This level control is adjusted so that the level of the mid and low frequencies matches the level of the tweeter when the knob is turned completely clockwise and moved back two notches.
The enclosure is designed as a bass reflex using plywood, and the exterior is made of polyester decorative board.
