Commentary

3-way speaker system.

A 30 cm diameter carbon fiber mixed cone is used for the woofer.
The cone shape is shallow and the surface is coated with a special acoustic damping agent to increase rigidity and suppress resonance.
A 156 φ mm ferrite magnet is used for the magnetic circuit, and a pure copper cap is attached to the pole to reduce current distortion.
In addition, a long type voice coil is used in consideration of input resistance characteristics and linearity, which reduces distortion at large input and reproduces a large dynamic range.
The frame is made of strong aluminum die-cast to eliminate resonance and suppress IM distortion.

10 cm diameter cone type unit is adopted for the mid-range.
The cone paper uses a newly developed material that is lightweight and highly rigid, and a special damping material is applied around the edge to obtain smooth characteristics. The magnetic circuit uses a 90 φ mmk magnet and an edgewise wound voice coil to greatly improve efficiency and provide a large sound pressure level and input resistance.
Aluminum die-cast is used for the frame as well as woofer to reduce IM strain.

A 4.5 cm diameter cone type is adopted for the tweeter.
The cone paper has a straight shape to improve the diaphragm to improve transient characteristics and frequency characteristics, and a special adhesive is applied to the cone neck to improve the elongation of the high frequency range.
A roll edge with good linearity has been adopted for the edge, and the inner part of the edge has been improved to be partly straight to improve the sound quality in the high frequency range.
The magnetic circuit uses a 70 φ mm magnet and exhibits high efficiency and excellent transient characteristics with a strong magnetic circuit and light vibration form.
The frame is an aluminum die-cast frame.

The enclosure uses a 24-mm-thick plywood baffle plate and a 20-mm-thick high-density particle board. A sound absorbing material is placed inside the enclosure to take advantage of the internal volume while preventing standing waves and providing low-frequency braking.
In addition, the bass reflex structure is precisely adjusted in order to maximize the performance of the woofer, and the duct is uniquely designed to be folded inside to avoid unnecessary medium sound radiation from the opening.

The network uses low-loss thick copper wire choke coils and metallized film capacitors to preserve the unit's characteristics.
