Commentary

A 3-way speaker system that uses a carbon fiber diaphragm for the low frequency range.

A 25 cm cone woofer with a carbon fiber diaphragm is mounted in the low range.
Carbon fiber is made from rayon fiber, acrylic fiber and pitch-based fiber, and is carbonized in several stages. In the CS-610, carbon fiber made from acrylic fiber is used in the cone paper of Woofer. It is lightweight and has a specific strength (strength / density) equivalent to glass fiber and a specific elastic modulus of more than four times.
A large ferrite magnet is used for the magnetic circuit.

The mid-range features a 4.8 cm dome mid-range.
An ultra-hard duralumin diaphragm of 40 μ thickness is used for the diaphragm, and excellent directional characteristics are obtained by the combination of radial fins and diffuser provided on the Dome-mae surface.
In addition, several types of sound absorbing materials are enclosed in the internal chamber of the magnetic circuit to achieve low-frequency characteristics with good cut-off. In addition, ventilation holes connected directly to the back chamber are provided in the center of the center pole and yoke to prevent internal standing waves on the back of the diaphragm.
High compliance polyurethane foam is used to hold the center of the dome, and excellent linearity is obtained as well as low fo.

A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
A 30 μ m thick ultra-hard duralumin diaphragm is used for the diaphragm, and excellent directional characteristics are obtained by the front radial fin and diffuser similar to the mid-range. In addition, foamed polyurethane is used to hold the center of the diaphragm, and high compliance and low strain rate are realized.

A large ferrite core with high permeability and a high-voltage capacitor are used in the network section, and a Mylar film capacitor with very low constant loss is used in the tweeter.
The woofer employs an impedance correction circuit to improve transient characteristics.

Equipped with level control for middle and high frequencies.

The enclosure uses a hard particle board with a thickness of 20 mm. The interior of the enclosure is partitioned with sound absorbing material to improve sound quality in the middle and low frequency range and to prevent standing waves.
The exterior is a walnut oil finish.
