CS-300 (1960 s)
Commentary

A large speaker system designed for high-fidelity devices used in large halls such as music cafes and public halls.
It is the same model number as the small speaker released in 1970 s, but the size and specification are completely different, and it is the top model at that time.

Two 38 cone type woofer PW-38A are mounted in the low range.

The middle area is equipped with two MH 300, which is a multi-seller type horn type skoker.
This unit consists of a driver unit designed for mid-range use and a multi-cellar type horn, providing almost uniform quality over a wide angle of 135 °.
Phenol resin is used for the diaphragm of the driver unit, polymer adhesive is used for the voice coil, and the horn consists of a metal throat section and a multi-cellar section divided into eight small wooden horns.

Four PT-3 horn tweeters are installed in the high range.
This unit was most commonly used in the Pioneer 2-way speaker system at that time. By using the aperture face in the vertical direction, the directivity in the horizontal direction is improved.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
