Commentary
A speaker system developed as a deluxe type of CS-200L/R.
The left and right channels of the CS-201S are designed symmetrically.
The L channel has a model number of CS-201L and the R channel has a model number of CS-201R, and they were sold separately. The model number in the set is CS-201S.
The PW-20A (PW-8), a 20 cm cone type woofer, is mounted in the low range.
A horn type tweeter, PT-3, is mounted in the high frequency range.
The exterior of this unit seems to be slightly different from the commercial model.
It is equipped with a level control for the high frequency band.
When the scale of this level control is adjusted to the third ▼ mark from MIN, the position is flat.
The enclosure is designed to be installed in both corners of the room for stereo playback. It is designed with an oblique front panel that takes into account the directional characteristics of the high-frequency range. This design combines the advantages of ordinary box and corner types in terms of volume and base area, and also has the advantages of high-frequency range directional characteristics.
The board is made of particleboards (Homogenen RUNNET), and the top plate has a decorative melamine board table board. In addition, the front surface has a fine board, but the use of polyvinylidene chloride fiber reduces the effect on sound quality.
For monaural playback, it is also possible to reverse the left and right.
