Commentary

Double reverse deck equipped with Auto NR System and FLEX System.

Equipped with an Auto NR System that automatically detects and plays back the recording state (Dolby B / C) of the tape.
When playing back a tape, the playback signal is analyzed using Pioneer's original sound quality evaluation theory to estimate the Dolby NR (off/B/C) at the time of recording, and the appropriate Dolby position is automatically selected and played back.
This system also reduces the hissing of tapes recorded with Dolby NR off with its own noise reduction circuit, and reduces the annoying hissing between songs in the music to be played.

It is equipped with the FLEX (Frequency Level Expander) System, which improves the muffled sound that occurs when playing back old tapes or tapes recorded from AM stereo / radio cassette or other sources with insufficient high frequencies.
This system uses the 1/f characteristic to improve the muffled playback sound, resulting in more natural HiFi sound.

Equipped with the Dolby HX PRO for faithful recording and playback of digital sources.
By detecting the wide-area signal flowing in the recording head and controlling the bias current according to the increase or decrease of the signal, and preventing the occurrence of self-bias, the high-frequency characteristics are greatly improved.

Equipped with Dolby B and C.

Equipped with a CD-DECK synchro function, it is possible to start one touch recording and auto trackback recording in conjunction with a Pioneer CD-DECK synchro compatible CD player.

It is equipped with a music search that can start up to 15 songs in both forward and backward directions.

Wireless remote control is included.
