This CD recorder was commercialized in pursuit of ease of use and reliability for commercial use.

It is equipped with a digital fs converter newly developed by Pioneer, and realizes compact integration by high-integration single-chip IC using Pioneer's original conversion method.

The digital source with sampling frequencies of 48 kHz and 32 kHz can be converted to 44.1 kHz without changing the digital source, enabling direct digital recording.

You can use CD-R discs that conform to the Orange Book, a unified standard for CD-R discs.
Since it is compatible with existing CDs, recorded CD-R discs can be played by ordinary CD players.

The input system is equipped with digital Route 3 and two analog systems including digital AES/EBU format input for professionals. The output system is equipped with input / output terminals for two digital systems and two analog systems.

The A/D converter for analog input is equipped with a 1-bit A/D converter, and the D/A converter is equipped with a New bit stream type 1-bit D/A converter.
The digital and analog circuit blocks are separated independently so that the analog circuit is not affected by the high frequency of the digital circuit.

Each part is made of carefully selected high-quality parts.

In order to realize recording characteristics compatible with CD, an isolated servo mechanism is installed.
The linear motor that drives the pickup has a floating structure in which the magnet and coil are separated independently, the magnet is fixed to the chassis, and the pickup mechanism is free in three dimensional direction.
In addition, the mechanical base has a viscoelastic floating structure that blocks vibration from the chassis, and at the same time, the vibration transmission to the pickup is reduced by the vibration control mechanical chassis structure with dissimilar metals bonded together.
In addition, a high-precision ZMP (0 moment point) drive is adopted. By matching the drive point of the linear motor with the center of gravity point of the pickup, unwanted moment generation is prevented, and the response band is expanded for faithful tracking.

In order to obtain the high precision and laser power required for accurate recording of input signals, a newly developed high-power pickup is adopted.
The high-rigidity, high-precision, and thin-type structure prevents unwanted resonance of the carriage and guide shaft.

The spindle motor uses a brushless motor with high torque and excellent reliability.
Φ 5 mm is used for the shaft, and combined with a large magnetic disk clamper that generates high inertia, excellent response and high rotational accuracy are obtained.
To further improve accessibility and searchability, a high-thrust linear motor is employed.
In addition, by adopting a two stage servocontrol system consisting of linear motors and pick-up actuators to improve tracing response, excellent tracking characteristics are obtained.

Equipped with a variable step digital fader that can independently set the fade-in and fade-out times from 1 second to 15 seconds in 1-second steps.

Equipped with an auto track number recording function, it automatically detects between songs and records track numbers automatically.

Equipped with skip functions such as Elias Kip, which selects unnecessary parts of a song by time, and Track Skip, which selects unnecessary tracks by track number and skips them.

It is equipped with a pre-bias playback function so that you can confirm and play back the last part of the recorded part with one touch when you record additional sound.

Built-in recording capacity display function and recording level peak margin display function to prevent recording errors.

Wireless remote control is included.
