Commentary

This CD player uses a turntable system that inherits the technology of high-end machines.

The Z concept has been newly introduced as a design concept.
The Z-Concept pursues accurate music signal transmission in order to realize more 3-D stereo sound field reproduction. Specifically, Z-Concept achieves higher levels of the effects of Legato link conversion and Hi-bit by eliminating unnecessary vibrations that affect disk rotation accuracy and signal reading accuracy, reducing unnecessary noise that adversely affects weak music signals, and eliminating jitter that occurs in the signal transmission process.

The mechanism section is equipped with Pioneer's original turntable mechanism.
In this system, the moment of inertia is improved by about 3 times by supporting the entire disk from the bottom, and stable disk drive is realized.
In addition, a clean laser pickup is used for the pickup part.
This pickup reduces power loss by eliminating optical components such as the collimator lens, and realizes low distortion signal reading.

Pioneer's Hi-bit technology is used for the digital circuit.
This technology focuses on very low-level signals less than the number of quantization bits. In order to estimate the waveform of the original sound from the data recorded on CD, 16-bit data in CD format is re-quantized into 24-bit data. The dynamic range is expanded to 120 dB, the maximum amount that the human ear can completely recover, and quantization distortion is reduced to reproduce a smooth waveform closer to the original sound.

It is equipped with Legato link conversion and reproduces music signals above the audible band of more than 20 kHz cut in CD format by estimating from signals within the audible band and 1/f characteristics.

DAC24 is used for the D/A conversion part.
The DAC24 achieves 24-bit resolution by providing eight levels in the amplitude direction. It faithfully converts data (24-bit resolution, approximately 40 kHz frequency band) expanded by Hi-bit and Legato link conversion, and achieves a resolution of 120 dB or higher in the band up to 40 kHz.

A 3-part, 3-regulation circuit is used for the power supply circuit.

It is equipped with various search functions and program functions.

The chassis has a honeycomb structure.

Wireless remote control is included.
