Commentary
DAT deck with 96 khz high sampling and legato link conversion.
Equipped with a high-sampling (HS) mode that increases the sampling frequency from 48 kHz to 96 kHz, twice that of the standard mode, enabling wide-band recording and playback up to 44 kHz.
High-sampling mode recordings cannot be played back in the conventional Standard (SP) or Long-Time (LP) mode due to format differences, and the maximum recording time in HS mode is 1/2 of that in conventional SP mode.
It is equipped with Legato link conversion.
This function attempts to reproduce a waveform very close to the original music signal by connecting data with a smooth function curve based on data recorded on the tape.
As a result, sound of 20 kHz or higher can be reproduced according to the 1/f attenuation characteristic based on the estimation of the original signal, and more natural music playback is possible even in the standard mode.
The D/A conversion section and A/D conversion section employ a 1-bit method for generating non-linear distortion and 0 cross distortion in principle.
The A/D converter is equipped with a wide-range linear A/D converter and the D/A converter is equipped with an original high-speed pulse-flow D/A converter.
In order to maintain the accuracy of the system clock, which is important for the 1-bit system, it is equipped with a high-performance clean-lock circuit that drives independently.
Equipped with a DAC mode function, it can also be used as a D/A converter.
By inputting the digital output of a normal CD player into a D-06 switched to DAC mode, you can enjoy the effects of legato link conversion from sources other than DAT.
The head part uses a high-precision and high-output AT head.
This head has 20 μ m uniform track processing in the track tracing direction (All Track Structure), enabling high-precision signal reading even at high sampling.
This allows for high sampling mode which rotates at twice the speed of the standard mode.
A high-precision operational amplifier is used for the input / output stage.
In addition, carefully selected parts are used for each part to improve sound quality.
In addition to three modes : 96 kHz High Sampling (HS), 48 kHz Standard (SP) and 32 kHz Long Duration (LP), it is equipped with the same 44.1 kHz Standard (SP) mode as CD.
It is also equipped with a 96 kHz Digital Out to accommodate an external D/A converter.
It is equipped with TOC (Table of contents) function which enables CD-like operation by remote control.
It has a character pack function that can record information such as songs and titles.
Equipped with auto (CD-Q code synchronized start) / manual ID recording function.
Equipped with an A-Time (absolute time) recording function.
It is equipped with functions such as Oatley number, end search and skip play.
You can display the peak margin.
