A cassette deck with improved overall performance by adopting a two motor mechanism and a highly stable cassette hold system.

A 2-motor system is used for the mechanism part, and dedicated motors are used for play (Rec) and FF/Rew respectively.
The Play (Rec) motor uses an electronically controlled DC motor (built-in generator) with less torque ripple and vibration, while the FF/REW motor uses a DC torque motor that achieves both high-speed winding and stability, enabling stable tape travel and improved durability of the drive.

In order to take advantage of the upright hold mechanism, a double-link tape holding mechanism has been adopted, which not only securely fixes the cassette, but also allows easy attachment and detachment with soft touch.
In addition, the use of six blades for the reel shaft eliminates play between the reel and hub, ensuring stable tape travel.

A fully open tape transport mechanism facilitates cleaning and maintenance around the head and pinch roller. This mechanism uses a large acrylic cassette door and is designed to allow 100% direct viewing of the cassette.

The head uses a ferrite solid head with excellent magnetic characteristics.
This head is a hyperbolic type with low head wear and high mirror surface accuracy. As a result, sound skipping and level fluctuation due to adhesion of dust, etc. are small, and recording compensation by the recording amplifier can be minimized, so the problem of high-frequency distortion due to excessive compensation is suppressed.

In the preamp section, an NPN3-stage direct head amplifier is used for the equalizer amplifier and microphone amplifier. By applying low-loss NFB over a wide band, excellent high-frequency characteristics are realized.

Equipped with an independent switchable tape selector with two levels of bias and two levels of equalizer.

It is equipped with a large level meter.
Also equipped with a peak indicator using LED, quick response to instantaneous excessive input is possible.

The Dolby System is built in as a noise reduction system.
When Dolby is on, the indicator lamp lights up and you can check it.

Equipped with a memory stop on/off switch with an operation indicator lamp that is convenient for heading out.
Turn this switch on to store the start point (000) on the tape counter. If you rewind the tape after playing or recording, the tape will stop at the position one step before the start point (999).

By using the separately sold timer together, it is possible to start recording your absence or playing the alarm clock.

By solenoid driving, the stop lever can be skipped from any mode to the next mode.
Electronic control circuit is used to protect mechanism and tape.

Equipped with a rear illumination lamp with a tape end marker line that shows the remaining amount of tape at a glance.

A full auto-stop mechanism with a non-contact rotation detection circuit that uses a Hall element for the detection circuit of the tape end is adopted.
