Commentary

A stereo cassette deck with thorough basic performance and operability.

Equipped with a full auto-stop mechanism that operates automatically in any state such as recording, playback, fast-forwarding, rewind, etc.
This mechanism is non-contact type that detects stop condition by electronic circuit, and is designed not to burden tape and mechanism.

A slide-type memory marker is mounted in parallel with the level control knob.
It is useful to set a memory marker in advance for playback immediately after recording or for repeated recording and playback operations.

Equipped with a playback noise filter that is used when there is a lot of tape-specific hissing.
High-frequency noise is cut off, making it easier to hear.

It is equipped with a tape travel pilot that rotates along with the tape travel.
It turns red when recording.

With the changeover switch, normal tape and chrome tape can be used separately.
This makes use of the characteristics of chrome tape and improves SN, frequency characteristics, dynamic range, etc.

Equipped with a recording / re-one connection cord that connects recording and playback of the tape deck and amplifier with a single cord.

Equipped with a mode switch for switching between stereo and monaural, you can record monaural programs or single-channel input to both left and right tracks.

An electronically controlled DC motor is used.
The rotation is controlled by a servo mechanism that combines a transistor and a diode to suppress uneven rotation caused by voltage fluctuations and load fluctuations.
In addition, due to the DC motor, induction noise is less than that of the AC type, and there is no worry of hum.

The head uses a permalloy solid head that has approximately 10 times more wear resistance than conventional permalloy heads.

We have CT 3030 a with walnut finish, CT 3030 ad with white oak finish, and CT 3030 s with black leather pattern finish.
