Commentary
MM type cartridge developed for CD-4.
An aluminum alloy of 0.5 mm diameter and 40 μ m is used for the cantilever, realizing a vibration system with a light weight of 0.4 mg.
The needle tip is a 0.2 mm square ultra-small block diamond needle polished with Pate Marconi type. Suspension wire system is used to support the vibration system to reduce non-linear strain caused by pulling in the trace forward direction.
The material used is nylon 6 which prevents ringing caused by wires.
