Commentary
MM cartridge with titanium pipe cantilever.
Titanium pipe of 25 μ thickness and outer diameter of 0.35 mm φ is adopted for the cantilever, and weight reduction of vibration system as a whole is realized.
In addition, by adopting a single-end support system in which the suspension and damper are completely separated, the mechanical impedance in the high frequency range is reduced.
The stylus tip uses a natural diamond whose tip is polished to an elliptical shape of 0.3x0.7 mil.
A rare earth cobalt magnet with a small specific gravity and a large magnetic energy product is used for the vibrator, and a ferrite yoke is used for the power generation circuit to improve frequency characteristics and reduce distortion.
