Commentary

An AV control center that uses a Dolby surround system and is equipped with an AV programmable remote controller.

The ADM (Adaptive Delta Modulation) digital surround system is used in the surround circuit to achieve higher quality surround sound.
The delay component uses an ADM digital delay circuit that is an evolution of an analog delay circuit that uses conventional Bucket Buigate Device (BBD) elements to achieve high S/N and low distortion.
By switching the control signal to the digital delay IC, this delay circuit makes it possible to select the delay time of of 15, 20 and 30 ms.

You can enjoy three surround modes.
Dolby Surround Mode reduces noise by decoding and playing back the program source encoded at the time of recording. Surround signals provide a 15-30 ms delay to the L-R signal and improve S/N through a Dolby B Noise Reduction circuit.
Simulated Surround mode is a mode that gives a pseudo surround effect to a monaural program source. You can enjoy surround sound by adding or subtracting the monaural (L + R) signal and the delayed signal and outputting the result signal to the L and R channels.
In the Stadium Mode, surround effects are added to the L and R signals. The L-R signal and the delayed signal are output to the surround L channel and surround R channel, respectively. This mode emphasizes the spread of the sound field so that you can enjoy the realistic sensation of being in a stadium.

It is equipped with input / output of AV4 system, video 1 system and audio Line 5.

It is equipped with functions such as a simulcast function that allows you to enjoy playback and BGV creation by freely combining audio and video, an acoustic memory function that allows you to preset three types of sound quality, an electronic volume that eliminates gang errors and makes it easy to fine-tune the volume, and a large FL tube.

The included programmable remote controller CU-AV100 was sold separately and has a learning function. It can control not only Pioneer products but also products of other companies.
There are a total of 68 remote control keys, 151 keys for controlling Pioneer products in the initial state, and 154 keys that can be controlled by learning. This has a large capacity.

There was an RF modulator for TV sold separately.
