An AV amplifier with a Dolby pro-logic circuit.
Focusing on the quality of the Dolby Pro Logic circuit, which is the basis of Dolby Surround, we have achieved digitization of the main circuit.
Digital processing includes a directional enhancement circuit to clarify the movement of sound and the localization of speech, and a modified B noise reduction to maintain the clarity of each channel's sound. Digital processing also includes a delay circuit to add sound spread and reverberation to obtain clearer surround sound, greatly reducing degradation during Dolby decoding and enabling more realistic playback.
In addition, it is equipped with a 3-channel logic mode in which you can enjoy sound field playback with enhanced realism by adding a center speaker.
It is equipped with the pro-logic theater mode to enjoy the sound spread and realism like a theater in the AV room.
This circuit uses Pioneer's original sound field control to process the signal extracted from Dolby Encoding Software with a digital processing pro-logic circuit, so that you can enjoy more natural surround sound.
It is equipped with a sound field control that you can enjoy adding the sound suitable for the source.
This system analyzes the acoustic characteristics of famous halls and theaters around the world using Pioneer's original computer simulation method, and collects the data into a DSP. Six types of sound can be selected : Hall, Jazz, Dance, Church, Theater, and Simulated Surround.
You can also adjust the sound field effect with the Effect Level controls to create your preferred surround.
All the channels of the power amplifier are discrete.
Especially, the front three channels have the same circuit configuration.
Pioneer technologies such as direct construction, which shortens the signal path, and 5-leg honeycomb insulator, which reduces external vibration, are introduced.
It features an acoustic memory that stores tone control adjustments, a video signal selector that lets you mix sound and video from different sources, and a sleeve function that turns off the power after a certain amount of time.
The AV input Line 5, audio input Line 5, 5-channel pre-out jacks, and direct-out jacks for sub-woofers are also provided.
A dedicated self-illuminated learning remote controller is included.
