Commentary
A high-grade stereo pre-main amplifier that uses all-stage direct connection OCL circuits.
The power amplifier section uses a fully connected circuit with two positive and negative power sources using silicon transistors.
Since the coupling capacitor and output capacitor are eliminated and the speaker is directly driven, the low and high frequency ranges, which had been blocked by the capacitor in the past, become flat, enabling wide-band playback.
In the preamplifier section, a 3-stage direct connection circuit using low-noise silicon transistors is used for the head amplifier, and a 3-stage direct connection NF type circuit using a first stage low-noise FET is used for the tone control section.
The protection circuit is a combination of an electronic circuit and a power relay.
This not only protects the speakers and power transistors from destruction, but also reduces noise when the power switch is turned on by muting the power supply.
In addition, this protection circuit is an automatic recovery type which returns to normal condition when trouble is solved.
Equipped with 2 Phono inputs. In addition to the MM type, the Phono2 position also allows the use of an MC cartridge with a separately sold transformer.
Equipped with a low / high filter and muting switch that can switch the cutoff frequency in two stages.
You can also use a switch on the rear panel to divide the preamp and power amp sections.
In the SA-100, the characteristics of each unit are measured and attached as technical data that can be understood at a glance.
