This is an active speaker system for the Studio Monitor Series that employs the MFB method.

In the MFB method, the piezoelectric element (PXE) mounted on the top of the cone paper of the woofer detects the acceleration of the cone paper and converts it into voltage. The voltage and input signal are compared with each other using a comparator. This makes it possible to make the reproduced sound wave identical to the original waveform and to cancel the distortion component forcibly.
In AH567, the input signal is divided into mid - and low-frequency ranges by an electronic crossover network. The mid - and high-frequency ranges are driven by a dedicated amplifier and a crossover network to drive a tweeter and a squaker, and the low-frequency ranges are reproduced without distortion by an MFB loop composed of a bass amplifier, a woofer and a comparator.

It has a 25 cm cone woofer in the low range, a 5 cm dome squaker in the middle range, and a 2.5 cm dome tweeter in the high range.

The input sensitivity is continuously variable and is compatible with all output signals such as preamp output and power amplifier output.

Equipped with an automatic power ON/OFF mechanism driven by relay.
With this mechanism, it turns ON automatically with an input of 2 mv or more, turns OFF automatically with no signal for 2 minutes or more, and the operation status can be checked with the indicator lamp.

The enclosure is made of wood with a black ash finish.

Parallel connection is available for each channel.
