Commentary
A toll-boy type speaker system using a DYNAUDIO speaker unit.
In the low range, 2 17W75 which is 17 cm cone type woofer of DYNAUDIO are loaded.
The diaphragm of this unit is made of cone, an organic compound mixed with metal oxide. The voice coil diameter is 75 mm, and a large magnet is used.
In addition, the back of the woofer unit is damped with acoustic putty to control the vibration of the frame.
The D-21/2, a 2 cm dome type tweeter of DYNAUDIO, is mounted in the high range.
Selected products are used for all units. In particular, two parallel operated woofers with very close physical characteristics are carefully selected for use.
In addition, sound quality has been improved by adopting vertical twin design.
Network wiring is directly soldered to eliminate printed circuit boards, and all LC parts are sealed with polymer resin to avoid adverse effects from pressure changes inside the speaker system and cabinet vibration.
Cables made by Caldas Audio are used as wiring materials.
To eliminate unwanted coloring, the enclosure is equipped with a resonance absorption system. In this system, sound putty, which is also used for the speaker unit, is placed inside the enclosure using high-density particle board. A 4-mm-thick lead plate is placed on top of the putty to damp the residual sound peculiar to wood.
Bi-wiring is supported.
Cleats are included.
