Commentary

FM/AM tuners were developed based on the fundamental principle that tuners are also audio equipment.

A dual-gate MOS FET is used for the front end, and combined with a precision four row varicon for high sensitivity and prevention of spurious interference.

The IF stage employs a 6-element phase linear-type ceramic filter with sufficient selectivity and excellent passband characteristics.

In order to obtain a wide linearity stably, a newly developed ratio detector with small temperature and humidity changes is adopted.

PLL IC is used in the MPX part, and the stability of separation is improved by eliminating the coil.

A low-pass filter with a carrier leak of -65dB reduces noise and prevents interference with tape deck bias.

The output circuit uses a 3-stage direct-coupled amplifier to improve S/N.

It is designed to allow for overmodulation of broadcasting stations, and the deterioration of sound quality during overmodulation is suppressed.

Equipped with a signal meter and a tuning meter.

It is equipped with a multi-path detection terminal and a change-over switch that enables antenna setting by sound.

Equipped with F-type coaxial connector.

Detection output terminal for 4 ch is mounted.
