Commentary

CS-PCM digital audio tuner developed using Integra technology.

At the heart of PCM digital audio reception, new technologies such as newly developed IC (MSK demodulation) and high-precision LSI (Viterbi complex) are used to increase the degree of integration and ensure clear and stable reception.

In the D/A converter, in addition to a high-precision 8 x oversampling digital filter, a linear-phase DA converter is arranged in an independent twin configuration on the left and right channels to prevent interference between channels and improve sound quality.

The muting circuit consists of a relay circuit that reduces the effect on sound quality.

It features a newly developed audio-only capacitor, a very thick power cord with polarity display that reduces the influence of the power source impedance, an audio output of gold-plated specifications and a headphone standard jack.

A remote control is included.
