A large-scale floor-type speaker system designed for rich bass sound and strong and bright sound.

A 38 cm cone type woofer unit W-3810A is mounted in the low range.
The diaphragm uses a multi-corrugation cone that is strong against large inputs. It is driven by a 78 φ mm large diameter long voice coil with a special heat-resistant design. In addition, an aluminum reinforcing ring is attached to the joint between the cone paper and voice coil to improve the mechanical strength against large inputs, effectively prevent the bell vibration of the cone paper, and clear the middle and low range sound.
Specially molded 2-layer urethane foam edge is used for the edge. This edge is made of 2 types of urethane foam with different physical properties, ester type for the upper layer and ether type for the lower layer, bonded together at a ratio of 3 : 7. In addition, it uses a special shape in which the density gradually decreases from the cone paper side to the frame side. By this, it exhibits linear follow-up even to the violent movement of the cone at large amplitude and suppresses the generation of non-linear distortion.
A butterfly damper using a special heat-resistant resin laminate is used for the damper. This material is excellent in heat resistance, strength, and hysteresis. Along with the edge of the new structure, it realizes a highly effective suspension with very little aging. This material has excellent damping characteristics compared with other materials and is also used for voice coil bobbins.
The magnetic circuit uses a 180 φ x95 φ x20mm magnet. The pole piece uses an H-type to maintain the symmetry of the magnetic distribution. In addition, the copper short ring reduces the harmonic distortion near fh due to current distortion.

A combination of a horn-type tweeter TW-1206A and an acoustic lens AL-120 is mounted in the high range.
The TW-1206A diaphragm uses an ultra-thin 20 micron foil titanium diaphragm. The high hardness of titanium increases the frequency at which split vibration occurs. Combined with the use of a free edge structure using polyester film and a double equalizer, excellent high-frequency stretch and transparency are obtained. In addition, the transient characteristics are further improved by the advantage of hardness and light weight, and sharp rise characteristics are obtained.
The horn section is an aluminum die-cast short horn with a cutoff frequency of 500 Hz. High efficiency and wide directivity are realized by combining with an acoustic lens.
The acoustic lens AL 120 uses a high impact styrene polymers and copolymers to prevent the blades from sticking.

Equipped with a 3-position mode selector.
Position 1 is a mode that actively uses woofer and tweeter. The crossover area is slightly raised and has a sharp tone.
Position 2 is designed to make the connection between the woofer and the tweeter as flat as possible in terms of sound pressure and frequency characteristics. This mode sets the shoulder characteristics of the woofer near the crossover and the tweeter level.
Position 3 is a mode with a slight thickness in the middle and low range. By setting the level of the tweeter slightly lower, the playback pattern becomes soft.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
A 20-mm Yonematsu plate is used for the baffle plate, a softwood chip board is used for the side plate, and reinforcement materials are used to realize an enclosure with a beautiful attenuation waveform.
The exterior has a rosewood grain finish.
