ONKYO Scepter

Commentary

This is a floor type speaker system which is the first model of the Scepter series.

Scepter is composed of various units of the Septor group mkII series.
The mkII series of the Receptor Group was developed based on the various models of the Receptor Group announced a year ago, with technical and characteristic support based on new development of parts and materials, as well as trial listening and examination from the aspects of auditory sense, physiological sense, and sensation.

A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
In addition to using Finnish pulp for the cone paper, neoprene foam rubber edge and butterfly damper made of epoxy glass fiber laminate are used.
A horn type unit is installed in each of the middle band, high band, and super high band.
These units use ultra-hard duralumin diaphragms with a thickness of 30 microns, which has not been possible in the past. This makes sound even tighter.

The enclosure is hermetically sealed.
