Commentary
This is an R series speaker system that was available in ONKYO's low-cost lineup.
In order to finish at low cost, it has been devised in various aspects.
A 25 cm cone type unit is used for the low range and a 12 cm cone type unit is used for the middle range.
A dome-shaped unit with excellent directional characteristics is used for the high-frequency band.
The enclosure is not a sealed type, but a semi-bass-reflex type with only a circular opening and a structure to release the back pressure inside the enclosure. Thus, a response close to that of a sealed type is obtained.
The material is a first class chip board with a walnut finish.
The network is an LC system with crossover frequencies of 700 Hz and 6500 Hz.
The level control is mounted on the front baffle, and the squaker and tweeter can each change by ± 6 dB independently.
In addition, it is equipped with a multi-amplifier terminal so that it can be used with 2 channels or 3 channels.
