This monitor series speaker system is compatible with various music sources by using pure cross carbon and magnesium alloy diaphragm.

Woofer
A 34 cm cone type woofer using a pure cross carbon diaphragm is mounted in the low range.

The pure cross carbon diaphragm has a structure in which three layers of carbon plain-woven fabric are stacked with angles shifted by 30 °, and the dust cap has a structure in which two layers of carbon are stacked with angles shifted by 45 °. This structure demonstrates the rigidity unique to carbon in all directions and realizes a diaphragm utilizing the material.
Carbon fiber has a unique sound due to its low internal loss. However, we have succeeded in increasing internal loss without lowering rigidity by using newly developed epoxy resin for binding material used in cone molding.
In Monitor2000, pure cross carbon was molded into a cone for the first time, and the rigidity (Young's modulus) is 12.7 times that of paper cone.

The magnetic circuit uses a large magnet with dimensions of φ 200x φ 95x25t and a magnetic flux density of 14,150 gauss. This magnet is equivalent to a 38 cm class unit, and the unit weight reaches 9 kg.

midrange
The middle area is equipped with a 10 cm compound skoker using a compound structure of φ 6.5 cm dome type and 10 cm cone type.

Magnesium alloy diaphragm is used for the diaphragm.
Magnesium has a large internal loss and the lowest density among practical metals (0.38 times that of titanium and 0.64 times that of aluminum). This material is molded to a thickness of 100 μ m by Skoker to ensure structural rigidity. In addition, the coating is finished uniformly to a thickness of 6 μ m by a newly developed resin vacuum deposition method to realize the straightforward sound of magnesium.
The superior internal loss of the Skoker suppresses unwanted resonance, so there is no need to attach a damping material to the back of the dome, and there is no excessive suppression of sound.
A newly designed equalizer is installed on the front of the diaphragm to improve directivity.

Φ 140x φ 75x17t, magnetic flux density 12,000 gauss magnet and 65 mm diameter voice coil are used for the magnetic circuit.

Tweeter
A 2.5 cm dome-shaped tweeter is installed in the high range.
In this unit, a magnesium alloy diaphragm is used as the diaphragm in the same way as the SCOKER. The diaphragm is 40 μ thick according to the characteristics of the unit, and a newly designed equalizer is installed on the front to improve the directivity.
Magnet of φ 90x φ 45x15t, magnetic flux density 18,250 gauss is used for the magnetic circuit.

Network
The network section uses a centralized single-point grounding system that applies the know-how of amplifier circuit technology. In this system, the grounding of each wire is concentrated at one point, eliminating interference between units and networks, and improving the sense of orientation.
In addition, high-quality materials with low impedance, low distortion rate and high input resistance are used, and sound quality is improved by sufficient audibility.

Cabinet
In the Monitor2000, the bass port is located on the rear of the system to eliminate interference from the port.
The cabinet design focuses on plate thickness and reinforcement, using 25 mm particleboards for baffle plates, top plate, bottom plate and side plates, 28 mm high rigidity, high internal loss Apiton plywood for the back plate, and sufficient reinforcement for a total system weight of 40 kg.

The front baffle has a symmetrical unit layout to improve sound localization.
In the Monitor2000, smoothing is attempted to solve the effect of reflection and diffraction of sound waves on the baffle surface. The protrusion of the level controller is also pushed in to make it flat except for adjustment. In addition, there is no thick emblem on the baffle surface and thorough measures are taken such as writing the model number by etching.
In addition, by creating a clearance between the baffle surface and the secondary RUNNET, the effect of reflection by the secondary RUNNET frame is suppressed.
