Commentary

This speaker system is 100% based on the design philosophy of the Monitor100.
We are working to expand the dynamic range, the playback range, and the listening area.

A 32 cm rotating sheet-forming cone type woofer is mounted in the low range.
It has been developed following the design policy of the woofer for Monitor100. It is driven by a 160 φ x85 φ x17mm magnet and a 76 φ mm long voice coil with a rotary sheet-making cone that ensures stable vibration mode even under large input and suppresses generation of strain.
In addition, in order to achieve high-efficiency conversion of energy, we have adopted a voice coil bobbin made of phosphorus-sei copper foil with excellent heat dissipation and a voice cap made of aluminum to improve input resistance.
In addition, folded amide fibers are used for the damper and a strong aluminum die-cast frame is used for the frame.

In the middle area, it is equipped with a 10 cm carbon mixed cone ・ skoker which is 0.37g lightweight and high rigidity.
In addition to the good physical properties of the diaphragm, the use of a titanium dust cap with excellent high-frequency characteristics and the installation of a back chamber with a sufficient volume of 1.8L provide a wide playback range.
A magnetic circuit with high magnetic flux density of 12000 gauss is gauss.

A 3 cm direct drive type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made by etching an annular voice coil pattern on a film made by superimposing 20 μ m aluminum foil on a polyimide foil diaphragm substrate with a thickness of only 12.5 μ m.
This diaphragm has a mass of 26 mg, which is extremely light and enables 70 kHz ultra-high frequency reproduction. In addition, it has an annular shape and uses a precision aluminum cut equalizer, which realizes uniform directivity in all directions.
Two units of 90 φ x45 φ x13mm are used for the drive system to realize a magnetic circuit equivalent to a magnet of 120 φ x60 φ x15mm in weight.

In the network, low-loss capacitors and low-resistance internal wiring materials are carefully selected and used. In addition, computer simulation is introduced to narrow down the constants, and the optimum constants are determined through audibility tests.

Level control is provided for the middle and high frequencies.

The tweeter and squaker are mounted on the same panel. In addition, the panel is made of solid aluminum die cast with a thickness of 10 mm, which enables the insulation of vibrations caused by the sound pressure of the woofer.
