Commentary

A floor-type speaker system that aims for a more realistic reproduction of large orchestras and big bands.

W-3503C which is a 31 cm cone type woofer is mounted in the low range.
A sheet cone with multi-corrugation is used for the diaphragm, which is strong for large input and has good tracking ability for small input. In addition, a zinc alloy reinforced ring is used for the joint between the cone paper and the voice coil to improve the mechanical strength for large input, suppress the bell vibration of the cone paper, and make the sound tone in the middle and low range clear. This diaphragm is driven by a 180 φ x95 φ x15mm magnet with a 230,000 maxwell total magnetic flux in the gap and a 78 mm long voice coil.
The suspension system uses a specially molded rubber edge that is resistant to secular changes and has good linearity of displacement. The damper uses a butterfly damper made of heat-resistant resin laminate to reduce mechanical resistance and improve damping characteristics. The frame uses an aluminum die-cast frame.

TW-519A, a 5 cm dome tweeter, is mounted in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of carbon fiber-based diaphragm material with a polymer film sandwiched between them and heat-molded. It is driven by a magnetic circuit using a 110 φ x60 φ x15mm magnet.

The super-high range is equipped with TW-406B which is a 3.5 cm compound super tweeter.
A composite structure has been adopted for the diaphragm, combining a titanium diaphragm with high Young's modulus and reduced weight and carbon cone with high internal loss.

Equipped with a 3-step mode selector that allows you to choose a playback mode that suits your program source and sound preferences.
It is also equipped with a 3-level control for the Super Tweeter that can adjust the playback level of the ultra-high range.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system and the front unit layout is symmetrical to improve the sense of orientation.
Uses 20 mm thick hard particle board.
The exterior has a rosewood-like finish.
