Commentary

A speaker system that pursues high power, high efficiency and wide dynamic range.

A 31 cm woofer unit is used for the low range.
It employs a seat cone with multi-corrugation which is strong for large input, and is driven by a 78 φ mm long voice coil which is excellent in allowable input and driving force.
In addition, the connection between the cone paper and voice coil is equipped with a reinforcing ring made of zinc die-cast, which increases the mechanical strength for large inputs and at the same time improves the resolution of the medium and low frequencies. This reinforcing ring also serves as a dummy weight for the woofer, which lowers fo and holds Qo suitable for the cabinet, thus contributing to the increase of the reproduction capability in the low frequency range.
The magnetic circuit uses a magnet of 180 φ x95 φ x15mm, ensuring a magnetic flux density of 10000 gauss. The pole is equipped with a copper short ring, which is highly effective in reducing harmonic distortion in the middle and high frequency range due to current distortion, to prevent distortion in the magnetic circuit.
The new aluminum die-cast frame is 20% heavier than the M-6. This frame has an excellent resonance waveform with a much lower level than the conventional frame. At the same time, the weight of the woofer itself can be increased.
It uses a polyimide diaphragm and butterfly damper with excellent heat resistance and strength. It is designed to keep Qm high by taking advantage of the material characteristics of high rigidity and strong coercivity, and to minimize the non-linearity of displacement against driving force in terms of shape.

A composite 4-cm tweeter is used for the high frequency band.
It uses a composite diaphragm that combines titanium diaphragm with high Young's modulus and lightweight and carbon cone with high internal loss.
The mounting position of Tweeter and Basref port can be easily interchangeable.

The mode selector has been modified and updated.
