Commentary
This speaker system aims to improve the quality of dynamic range.
A 25 cm woofer unit is used for the low range.
This unit is made by multi-corrugation molding of 3-layer cone paper made by a new papermaking method. It uses a 50 φ mm long voice coil and a 120 φ x60 φ x15mm large magnet, and is driven by a magnetic circuit with a total magnetic flux of 132000 maxwell in the gap.
In addition, a reinforcing ring and dummy weight are provided at the junction of the cone paper and voice coil.
A 4-cm tweeter unit is used for the high range.
This unit uses a deep dust cap and radiator with the form of a bus wire as a radiation, which enables the reproduction of ultra-high frequencies and effective diffusion of high frequencies.
The bass reflex port and tweeter unit of the M1II are interchangeable and can be arranged in a symmetrical unit layout.
